Upcoming Cross Island Line (CRL)
When the Cross-Island Line (CRL) goes operational in around 2030, Pasir Ris MRT will be an interchange of 3 intersection lines (CP1, CR5 and EW1) that links Pasir Ris to other major hubs such as Jurong Lake District, Punggol Digital District and Changi region. For instance, Pasir Ris residents can take the CRL train to reach Punggol within 15 minutes, less than half the time if they are to take a bus today using approx. 40 minutes.
